How it runs
How a window tint booking runs in Huntington Beach
- Call with the vehicleYear, make, model, which glass you want done and roughly how dark you want the rear. Price, film, VLT and turnaround are confirmed before anything is scheduled.
- Leave the car about four hoursA windshield on its own is two hours. Film goes on indoors — we are not mobile, and for tint that is a feature, because wind and airborne dust ruin an otherwise clean install.
- Leave the windows up for three to five daysThe film goes on wet and the rest of that moisture evaporates through it. You get the number for your car at pickup. Rolling a window down early is the most common way a good install gets ruined.

How it runs
How a clear bra install runs at the Huntington Beach shop
- Decontaminate the paintWashed, then chemically decontaminated to pull embedded iron and tar out of the clear coat, then clayed. Panel edges, shut lines, badge surrounds and the lip behind the bumper are cleaned by hand, because that is where adhesive fails first if grit is left behind.
- Take panels off where coverage calls for itWrapping an edge means the film goes around the metal and terminates on the back side, where you cannot see it and a pressure washer cannot catch it. Bumpers, mirror caps, badges, handles, headlights and trim come off for that reason. We tell you what we plan to remove, and why, before we start.
- Lay the filmSlip solution goes on, the film is positioned, the solution is squeegeed out from the center, and heat shrinks the material into compound curves so it lies flat instead of fingering at the corners. Every panel is worked until the adhesive is fully wet out.
- Let it cureKeep the car dry for 48 hours and unwashed for a week. Expect some haze, small bubbles or a faint milky look in the first days — normal, and it clears on its own. Give it a couple of weeks in the sun before judging the finish. If an edge looks like it is lifting in that window, do not pick at it. Call us.

How it runs
How a full color change runs at the Huntington Beach shop
- Pick the color off a sample, not a photoCome look at film in daylight and under the shop lights before you commit. Photos lie about satin and matte; samples do not. We tell you which brand we are quoting — STEK Automotive, SunTek or 3M — before you commit.
- Prep, which is most of the laborWashed, decontaminated, and cleared of any old wax or sealant, because adhesive does not bond through wax. Then disassembly, then a solvent wipe panel by panel immediately before film goes on. Oil left on the surface becomes a lifted edge three weeks later.
- Lay the film, five to seven daysVinyl has a grain and a stretch limit. Deep recesses, sharp body lines and complex bumper shapes take relief cuts, heat and patience, which is why a full wrap takes days rather than hours. A roof or hood alone is one day; a chrome delete is four hours.
- Wash it by hand from then onTwo buckets, a clean mitt, pH-neutral soap, and dry with microfiber rather than letting it spot in the sun. Stay out of automatic washes with brushes — brushes catch film edges and lift them.
Environment
Coastal exposure on a Huntington Beach car
Salt does not need a storm to reach your car. Onshore wind carries it inland every day, and the marine layer that sits over Bolsa Chica and Huntington Harbour most mornings lays moisture on every panel and holds the salt there. When it burns off late morning, what is left dries onto the clear coat.
- Fine sand blows across PCH between Golden West and Warner
- Grit off the car ahead sandblasts the nose slowly and steadily
- Film gives all of it something to land on that is not your paint
Vehicle types
The cars we see most from Huntington Beach
Categories matter more than badges. What changes the plan and the hours is the shape of the panels and what has to come off the car, which is why every price here is quoted by body style rather than as one number.
- Daily drivers parked outside: the nose takes the sand first, so front coverage is where the money works hardest
- Trucks and SUVs: more glass and more painted panel, which is exactly why body style sets the price
- Performance coupes: splitters and vents where film is relieved and tucked rather than stretched

Questions from Huntington Beach drivers
Can you tint my front windows as dark as the back?
No. California treats front side windows differently: the film itself must have "a minimum visible light transmittance of 88 percent," and the window with film applied must still meet FMVSS 205, including "the specified minimum light transmittance of 70 percent." That rules out darkening film up front, though a clear heat-rejection film is legal and does real work on the driver's side. Rear side windows and the rear window have no darkness limit, provided the vehicle has outside mirrors on both sides.
How long will my car be at the Huntington Beach shop?
Full vehicle tint is about four hours, windshield tint alone about two, chrome delete about four hours, and a wash and prep an hour and a half. Longer work stays with us: front package PPF is 2 to 3 days, track package 3 to 5, and full body PPF or a full color change wrap 5 to 7 days each.
Are you mobile, or do I bring the car to Huntington Beach?
The car comes to us. Trinity Aesthetics is a single location at 15317 Pipeline Ln and we are not mobile, because film work needs a clean indoor space that a driveway in Huntington Harbour cannot give you. We serve all of Orange County from this one shop, and parking out front is free.
What does the 2 year / 24,000 mile warranty cover?
It covers our workmanship: lifting, peeling, bubbling and edges that do not stay where we put them. It sits on top of whatever the film manufacturer covers on the film itself, which is a separate thing. Coverage is assessed per vehicle and confirmed in writing before we start, so you have the terms for your car before you pay.
Do you offer ceramic coating?
Not yet. Training on it comes after our current program at Ding King Technical Institute, which finishes around October 2026. We would rather tell you no than sell you a coating we are not ready to apply properly.
Is PPF worth it if I park at the beach every day?
That is the case where it makes the most sense. Salt in the marine layer, blown sand along Pacific Coast Highway and grit off the road all work on the front of the car, and paint protection film takes that instead of your clear coat. Film can be replaced later; a repainted bumper is a bigger conversation.
How do I get a quote from the Huntington Beach shop?
Call with your year, make and model and what you want covered. Prices on this page are published starting points, and PPF and wrap pricing varies by vehicle, so anything past a same-day job gets a written quote before work begins.
